To provide this care sustainably, we rely on fair and clear business practices, including having a cancellation policy.
Understanding the Time Commitment
Every massage appointment represents more than the time spent in the session itself. Therapists set aside time to prepare the treatment room, review client notes, and ensure a personalized experience. When a client cancels last-minute or doesn’t show up, that time—time we could’ve spent helping another client—can’t be recovered.
A Livelihood Based on Booked Hours
Unlike salaried employees, most massage therapists earn income directly from the services they provide. A missed appointment means lost income. While emergencies happen, our cancellation policy helps balance flexibility for clients with ensuring therapists are compensated for their expertise and availability.
Our Cancellation and No-Show Policies
We’ve created policies to help protect the time and resources we dedicate to your care:
Cancellation Policy:
We require 24-hour advance notice when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule that time. If you are unable to provide 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment to the card on file.No-Show Policy:
If you forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment for any reason, it will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged the full amount of your missed appointment to the card on file.
